Elementary and High School Financial Assistance

HELP (High school and Elementary Learners Program)

This shall be available to indigent Muntinlupa City public elementary and high school students, as certified by the school's Scholarship Committee. Elementary students shall receive a ₱300 monthly allowance, while high school students shall receive a ₱400 monthly allowance, for the whole school year. This is also available to public SPED students.

Private school students may also apply, granting they prove indigence. For private school SPED students may avail of a maximum assistance of ₱5,000 per school year.

College Scholarships

Existing Muntinlupa Scholarship Program (MSP) Scholarship

These are the existing college beneficiaries receiving a maximum of P30,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP. This program shall only be in effect for four more years or until School Year 2018-2019.


Ten Muntinlupa Outstanding Students (10MOST) Scholarship

These are the student-winners of the city's annual search of the same name. They shall receive a full ₱30,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP.


Honors Scholarship

The recipients are the Top 10 fresh graduates of ALL Muntinlupa City public high schools. They shall receive a maximum of ₱25,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP.


Premier Scholarship

The applicants shall be incoming first year college students of the University of the Philippines Luzon campuses and chosen CHED Centers of Excellence. They shall receive a maximum of ₱25,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP.


Priority Course Scholarship

The applicants shall be incoming first year college students of chosen DOST-SEI Priority Schools and Courses. They shall receive a maximum of ₱25,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP.


State University or College (SUC) Scholarship

The applicants shall be college upperclassmen enrolled in the different state college and universities in Luzon. They shall receive ₱5,000 scholarship per semester, until they graduate, granting they maintain the GWA requirement set by the MSP.


Basic Scholarship

This scholarship shall be available to ALL Muntinlupa City public high school graduates. They shall receive a one-time post secondary educational assistance of ₱5,000 each, in the form of a voucher. Voucher may only be used if, and only if, they enroll in the post secondary school of their choosing.


Continuing Education Assistance

This shall be available to students enrolled in other schools and/or courses not covered by the preceding types of scholarships. Qualified applicants shall receive a one-time assistance of a maximum of ₱5,000.

Honor Graduates Incentive Program

This is available to ALL Top 10 Muntinlupa graduating public school students. The incentives shall be as follows:

PLMun Iskolar ng Bayan

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) "Iskolar ng Bayan"

This scholarship shall be available to students of the local university, from first year second semester onwards, who are Muntinlupa residents. Qualified applicants shall be entitled to receive tuition fee waivers and allowances, depending on their GWA.


PLMun Masteral Scholarship Program

This scholarship shall be available to Muntinlupa City public school teachers wishing to take graduate studies in the local university. City Government Employees may be accommodated, if vacancy occurs.

EDGE (Educational Development for Government Employees)

This scholarship shall be available to Muntinlupa City public school teachers wishing to take graduate studies in universities other than PLMun. City Government Employees may be accommodated, if vacancy occurs.

Financial Assistance to Athletes and Students with Special Talents and Skills

This shall be available to Muntinlupa City students involved in the athletics, or who shall attend conferences or join local and international competitions. The amount of financial assistance shall be determined by the Muntinlupa Scholarship Program.

Muntinlupa City Technical Institute (MCTI) National Certification II (NCII) Review Assistance

This shall be available to MCTI students needing financial assistance for review and assessment to obtain certification/license for non-degree or vocational courses, under TESDA Program, based on the policy guidelines issued by the MCTI and MSP; and, approved by the City Mayor.
